Ok I need to rant for just a second and then I’ll get back to blog rates
I just went to the grocery store and I was buying a large number of sodas (about 12 cases of 6) and someone stopped me on the way to check out and started lecturing me about how soda was bad for me and how god wouldn’t want me to destroy my body. I am not a skinny person, I know that. I can’t tell you how many judgmental looks I got. First of all, stop fucking judging me you hypocrites. Second of all did it ever strike you to think about why I’m buying them? I WAS BUYING THEM TO STOCK THE FUCKING VENDING MACHINE AT MY DADS FIREHOUSE SO FUCK YOU. THOSE SODAS ARE AWESOME AT 3 AM WHEN THEY JUST RAN A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT AND WATCHED A TEEN AGER DIE. DONT FUCKING LECTURE ME YOU ASSHOLES B/C YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WAS BUYING THEM SO FUCK YOU.

Okay tumblr, lets talk about a thing

Marissa is a sweetheart and I’m very glad to call her my friend. I am quite upset about her leaving as she had a stunning blog and an even better personality, but if leaving her blog helps her, then I am glad.

But lets talk about what really fucking pisses me off.

The fact that she has had people be rude to her for so long and call her nasty things and basically call her a terrible person for voicing. her. opinion.

Tumblr is supposed to be a safe space for people. It was a place where we could post about things we loved and vent about the real world. Not a place where we have to worry about people criticizing our very beings and being as unsympathetic as they possibly could.

This. Is. Not. Okay.

I can’t believe I have to say it, that anonymously sending hate is wrong and can ruin something that is supposed to be a fun experience for people.I can’t believe that it isn’t already fucking self explanatory that  I am horrified by the behavior of people and I can not believe you would ever do something so rude to someone who has been one of the best people I have found on this site.

If you ever sent her hate or rude messages, i would like you to unfollow me right the fuck now. For that matter, if you have ever sent anonymous hate messages I would also like you to unfollow me right the fuck now. I do not have any unfollower trackers, so don’t worry, you will stay anonymous, but I want no part of anyone who could destroy something that is supposed to be fun near me or my blog. And you know why? Because people like that disgust me.

So let me repeat this. Tumblr is supposed to be a safe environment for people where we get to voice ourselves in a safe way. It is supposed to be a place where we do not have to deal with the strict social confines that push so many of us down. Tumblr has been a place where I have gotten to be myself, in all my oddness and gayness without being judged. It is a place that welcomed me and for gods sake, everyone deserves that chance!

I am sorry that I will no longer get to enjoy Marrisa’s beautiful presence on my blog, but I am unbelievably glad that I have made such a great and lasting friend from her.

Ok so people have been bitching about how cops are horrible and they keep saying they’re  pigs and they’re racist but its really stupid to base the actions of a few, and use it as a label for an entire profession. Of Course there are bad cops but they aren’t all bad. and try not to forget the fact that during the holiday season they are out on the streets protecting you while their families are at home missing them. As a daughter of a fire fighter, I hate that the most. We didn’t get to share thanksgiving with my dad this year because he was on duty. So while you’re complaining about how the police aren’t doing their job good enough for you, they are trying to stop criminals. People aren’t always as they seem and they can’t be too careful about who to trust. Anyone could pull a gun out or a knife, no matter what race! They have families to get home to so stop giving them a hard time. NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD. The media makes them out to be monsters, but they ARE PEOPLE. THEY ENJOY VIDEO GAMES AND TV AND EVERYTHING YOU LIKE. Show some respect for the sacrifices they make. They don’t have to put their life at risk, it’s a choice. If we had no cops, I promise you there would be chaos. Please please please stop making them seem heartless, they aren’t. They do the best they can with what they have.

could it be because you were conveniently ignoring these to make a point about one specific photograph? to twist it into being racist? hm.

besides, the fact that it’s black and white/cropped has 00000 things to do with her race. even in black and white you can obviously tell that woman is not caucasian - literal colour of skin is not the only thing that identifies race. 

you could attack any of these pictures for any ridiculous reason (“oh my god amy poelher is the only one not covering her cleavage obviously they’re oversexualizing her because she’s blonde”), but doing so just reduces the trustworthiness of your cause.
